I just got my Razer chroma keyboard and although it looks great its extremely uncomfortable to type on. The height is too aggressive and I am getting a lot of wrist strain. Anyone else have this problem? Does or will Razer release an official snap on wrist rest???

I had the same problem but purchased a 3rd party bead bag wrist rest for 10 bucks at Frys Electronics and it works great. There are tons of wrist rests out there, you may just want to go to best buy and see what one works the best for you. I personally went with the bead bag style as I could force the beans to one side to make it taller as this keyboard is pretty tall :)

I wanted to avoid any third party wrist b/c I dont want to add extra bulk. I move my keyboard a lot and having to move two things will just become an annoyance. I'll give the keyboard another week if i can't get use to it I will probably sell it on EBAY. I've never needed a wrist for any previous keyboard I owned in the past 20 years and no reviews pointed to how uncomfortable this could be with extended typing.

I would love if razer added a cheap soft plastic magnetic snap on wrist like many of it's competitors in the price range but it doesn't look like they are looking to.

I guess that's up to you, but a third party wrist rest will add the same amount on bulk as if it came with one. Its a super nice keyboard, I'd hate to see someone sell theirs. Most keyboards don't come with wrist rests. Well, give it some thought, even if it did come with one their are tons of super nice gel, cushion and bean filled rests that are way nicer than anything any company includes with their keyboard. sorry to hear about the issue

looks like you have to get it from other third party... i was looking for one but razer has none.. so i just got some china made cheapo which works well... there are other markets which manufacture Mechanical Keyboard such as ducky and they makes wooden and leather type wrist rest... check it out...

I bought a really cheap gel wrist rest when I purchased my first Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth - and I still use it with my Blackwidow Chroma Stealth. I can't imagine it's any more annoying to transport than if Razer made their own wrist rest for keyboards. A wrist rest is a wrist rest. *shrugs*

Edit: Although, this probably should've been in the "Keyboards" forum rather than "Audio". hehe

Oooops my bad lol for the wrong section post.

I've been using the keyboard all week and have to say i got use to it. the small extension on the bottom of the keyboard is actually really nice. The lower part of my hand can rest on it if i have the keyboard at the edge of the desk and my wrist actually don't even have to touch anything yet I still have some hand support!

I guess i'll be keeping the keyboard after all =D
