i've caculated how much it would cost in Australia, if without the $150AUD off prom it would be $750 or $749.95AUD. This should be 99.99% correct. :) anyway i still have a $150AUD off promo, i will sell it to someone for $25 :)

  2. Have there been any official response?
Just purchased stealth on the basis the core was available for purchase, be really pissed off if its not.

Yeah I got one of those after having some issues with the Skylake RBS and am SSSOOO happy with it. I have a slight problem where the Blade won't wake from sleep for 10 seconds or more which is not what I'm used to as I used to own an Asus UX31A and it woke instantly but it's not getting worse to I'm just chalking it up as a "feature" and I do not worry about it so much any more.

Great, great, great notebook. Can't recommend enough.

    Auspost Shopmate

Cost about 155 AUD for the core IIRC and when I got the blade stealth when it came out in US it cost $135AUD for shipping

Ok I think I might understand why Razer isn't releasing their product to Australia now, it's super buggy, there are like many connection problems with the core, and probably due to the massive RMA's that people are getting in other countries, they might just stop making it for more countries until they can find a better connectivity to the Blade laptops, IDK, it could just be me, but the one I got from eBay disconnects so often, i'm still trying to fix it with all the solutions online, but yet haven't found an answer, but then again, i've ony used it for a day. I'll come back in a week for more update :)

Yeah both the Razer Core and some other USB C solutions (mainly the Dell TB15) have had issues with port stability. My hunch is that it might have something to do with charging both the device and the stuff at the same time not being happy? I'm not sure. Sucks that its having issues for you too, have you tried it without peripherals attached etc to see if there's configurations where it's more usable than others?

Damn, feel free to keep us posted on progress. I'm also assuming you've tried updating your Thunderbolt firmware to the latest version etc?

Oh the other reason I suspect we might not be having the core here officially is that perhaps, like with the Blade, they're working on a newer version and so haven't bothered shipping it here yet when a new one is right around the corner? We'll have to see.

So its now been a year since I recived the email to say the core credit voucher has been extended (to aug 2016), and was starting to lose hope, but then Razer sent me a email today! ..... to let me know they have a new backpack for sale. Thanks guys.

P.S. does it come with the straps, or will they be released at a later date ?

I fixed the problem, it was just that I didn't have 5ghz internet in the end, so I went ahead and bought a new modem and now it works perfectly fine! :)
tbh idk, i feel like they will either never release it, or they release a new version, either way, i'll prob move to the US in the future so i can get razer products easier xD

ohh so was yours only having problems with internet? I thought you meant the USB devices disconnected all the time. It's possible that there was interference on the 2.4ghz channel which isn't there on the 5ghz, either way I'm glad you've got it working!

    Hi Jaseow
I know it's a long time ago, but do you remember the approx packing dimensions? I'm going to go down the shopmate path from the US too. Although they no longer offer the USD$100 discount for Razer Blade Stealth owners.

    Cheers

This is what I paid for the Stealth and Core shipping. I included extra cover as insurance in case the package did not arrive which is up to you whether you want to have. It cost $15 extra for the core (based on item value)

Although, if you are looking for an external graphics solution at the moment I would recommend the Gigabyte Aorus GTX1070 enclosure instead. $999 AUD and it comes with a 1070 included.

At $499USD ($650ish aud? + $150 aud odd shipping + GPU ($500 aud?) you are looking at nearly $1300 aud for the Razer Core

Not sure about the ability to upgrade the GTX1070 in the Gigabyte Aorus box in future though.

It's coming to all of Europe this time so fingers crossed. My theory as to why we and they never got the Code v1 was because they were working on the v2 as that's what happened with the Razer Blade where we never got the gtx970 one due to them being about to bring out the gtx1060

I got confirmation at PAX that the core will be making its way to AP, and probably a worldwide release in Q1 2018, priced at $499 USD converted into your currency at the usual rate, so probably $650-700 AUD
