Anybody got the Base Station Chroma to appear on Razer Synapse 3.0??

Problem is that I have a Blackwidow Chroma Stealth, Diamondback Chroma, Firefly Chroma, and a Base Station Chroma. And sadly to say there are just tooooooooo many bugs!

Firstly when I only had the Blackwidow, diamondback and firefly, Synapse 2.0 worked perfectly with not much issues.

Then, I got the Base station chroma and found out that only Synapse 3.0 works with it.

Now after installing Synapse 3.0, it only shows my Blackwidow Chroma, and my Synapse 2.0 only shows my diamondback...

Dilemma as to whether I should try and fix the base station chroma to appear on Synapse 3.0 or just give it up totally and roll back to 2.0 which supports my other 3 devices...

Any experts can help with this issue? :slightly_sad:

Just try running a repair, or uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting your pc, re-plugging your peripherals, one of these should work, if not, try to make a support ticket to Razer, they usually respond very quickly! Hope you manage to fix your problem :)

Yep! they responded pretty fast! This was what they replied:

Thank you for contacting Razer Software Technical Support.

This is probably a software bug issue, lets try to do a clean reinstall by following the steps below.

    1. Uninstall synapse under control panel
    2. Delete all files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer and C:\ProgramData\Razer directories. These folders are hidden by default, so please be sure to un-hide them. We want to ensure that there are no residual files remaining that may corrupt your installation. This is important so please do so. Restart your computer after.
    3. Go into device manager, go to Keyboards and Audio inputs and outputs - mouse and other pointing devices, uninstall HID Keyboard and Mouse Drivers and all other Razer product drivers, and restart your PC. Be sure to select delete drivers as well when uninstalling. Restart your computaer again.
    4. Turn off all Firewall and Anti-virus software to prevent any conflicts. Download and install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework (4.5 or higher) at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 (In some cases, you may need to uninstall the older version on your system). Then, install the latest version of Razer Synapse.

Also some of your devices are not yet supported by 3.0 that is why it's not recognized by 3.0, just like your diamonback. Don't worry though as Razer is working on migrating all devices from 2.0 to 3.0, your device will be supported by 3.0 in one of the future update. Please refer to the link below as your reference for the list of supported devices for each synapse.

I tried everything but my Firefly and basestation chroma is still not appearing on Synapse 3.0. Am on the verge of giving up... Anyone got it to work together at all?

If anybody needs to know how it is solved:

Reformat your entire PC and plug in the device one by one, especially the base station. I solved it by reformatting my entire PC and installing Synapse 3.0 first, then plugging in my Blackwidow first. After Synapse 3.0 picked up the blackwidow, you can move on the to base station.

For me, I plug the firefly and diamondback directly to the base station, so I plugged the firefly first and allowed Synapse 3.0 to detect it. Tadah! You got all the devices in your Synapse 3.0!

Next, where does the diamondback go you wonder? Now, after ensuring all the 3 devices is installed properly on Synapse 3.0, now you install Synapse 2.0. Which will automatically pick up the diamondback.

Now all works. Just worrying on whether I should go ahead and buy a Tiamat 7.1 V2 because of the limitless conflicts.

Oh yes, the audio visualizer and apps does work will ALL devices if you are wondering, so long as the app is supported in both versions of Synapse.

In any case, I do believe that if you would not want to reformat your PC, you have to find a way to uninstall your USB drivers and also ensure anything related to Razer is totally wiped from your system before doing the steps above.

    I have this prob too!

    I TRY EVERYTHING.

I can use the 3.0 OR the 2.0. Never the both in same time.

I have 2 peripheral using in the synapse 2.0 and 2 in the 3.0.

I think the problem is some conflict over your keyboard (I have blackwidon v2) since it appeared 3 weeks ago for use in 2.0 and also in 3.0.

Now it's only 3.0. But it turns all red when I turn on synapse 2.0

Let's wait, but synapse is simply shameful for the price and compatibility of use.
