Thanks! Oh, and... https://insider.razerzone.com/index.php?threads/razer-11-mini-blade-any-interest.59/ I've been waiting for this for a long, long time. I hope I'm in the first batch of shipments!
Also I want to add in one more thing... THERE IS A CAPITAL R ON THE KEYBOARD thank you Razer!!! No more do we have that awkward 'r' in the middle of the keyboard!!
Oh I'll wait alright. I wanted to pre-order and get it this month in time for Tomb Raider, but now I'll need to see how the GTX 980 ti would perform with that dual core disappointment. Also, many are saying the Core is too small to take a Titan. This might disqualify the laptop immediately if it's true. Alienware's Amplifier can comfortably fit a Titan.
if razer do this ..... that isn't call for gamer by gamer.... it is call for money by ..whatever.. an real gamer will not buy a laptop with i7-6500u +8 GB ram only . even they did m2 SSD and UHD . it doesn't matter! there is no point for a good game experience. for me, even razer sale this for 600. I will just wait razer blade QHD for sale
Woah Woah!!! I did not expect that. Thought it was the Edge V2! When Beauty meets the Beast, you get the Stealth @Razer|Technokat Will there be an AMA abt this soon? EDIT: Or if i may just ask, is there a reason for using Thunderbold 3 instead of USB- Type C? Thanks. Nvm, found out it's running on USB Type-C. P.S Did anyone notice the 'R'on the stealth is no more an 'r'
Since Razer missed the mark with the dual-core processor and the inevitable bottleneck, the money question everyone's asking online is whether or not the Razer Core will work with other Quad core i7 Skylake laptops with Thunderbolt 3.0 (like the Beautiful bezelless XPS 15)
Im a bit sad that they did not make something like the Surface (2in1) but boy does this look amazing!
The CEO posted on FB that Razer will not block other laptops off from using the Core, but makes no guarantees that it will run smoothly or work at all. Fair enough IMO, since this is the first TB3 eGPU dock on the market. I'm pretty sure as TB3 and USB Type-C become more prevalent, we're going to see more manufacturers come out with universal eGPU docks, but as of now Razer is first. While I dislike how the Blade Stealth can't play nice games on the go and the CPU may turn out to be a huge bottleneck, we have to give Razer credit. This thing beats out Apple's Macbook Air on pretty much every spec - screen (touch and WAY higher resolution), storage, weight, thickness, rgb keyboard, CPU, price AND can connect to an eGPU. Really, the only thing the MacBook Air has on the Blade Stealth is battery life.
Looks like you missed one earlier by the Chief. I'll be around, I'll try my best to get to some of the pertinent questions regarding our new announcements.
This is a very nice 1rst version. Razer is going to offer the best windows 12.5 inch laptop. Sad for the cpu choice. I will wait to see some feedback with 980 gpu and see if the cpu is a bottleneck. But honestly I already know now that I will buy the next razer blade 14 and the core. that will be the perfect combo with a nice gsync screen( razer next announcement?). Razer Blade 14 2016 + core is just the perfect combo. May be next year with a better cpu and 16 giga of ram I will consider the stealth. Well done Razer. Close from makin it perfect but well done. ( steakth + 950m + better cpu+ 16G ram) will be perfect but I am sure your choice was made in order to reach those 8h of power. Let s see how much this cpu is a bottleneck...
Does anyone have a high resolution of the Wallpaper on the stealth, it looks amazing and I want to use it.
I would love to see whether the power brick has remained the same or you guys managed to make it more smaller? Yeah, i missed it. Thanks Any ideas why you guys changed the font on the keyboard and change the usual 'r' to the capital 'R'?
Damn. I was wondering the same thing. Too bad I already bought an ultrabook, but this would have been a serious game changer!
I'll be extremely (but pleasantly) surprised if the CPU wasn't a massive bottleneck with the GTX 980 TI. But here I am, waiting for the benchmarks. That said, if you're looking for a Quad Core i7 Skylake 4K Thunderbolt 3.0 laptop with 16GB of RAM, Dell already has the XPS 15 out with these specs and a discrete GPU, and its bezels are way slimmer than anything Razer can manufacture. It costs $2200 at this configuration, and I expect Razer's 2016 14" offering to even exceed that, with much thicker bezels and a bigger chassis. Once anyone confirms that the Core can work with the XPS 15, I'm buying both.
Wow great addition to the lineup that is for the ppl that don't game on the go but when stationary wants top performance from one system! great move. For me now I am really waiting for the next Blade... my 2014 is scary right now lol! If I could only fit another system on my setup I might would buy it.
What, no Kensington lock? I'm a little stifled at that but eh, Not a huge issue xD I can't see anyone running off with what's essentially a small PC anytime soon.
