I have Razer Kraken 7.1 V2's and I am very happy with them, and was planning on getting my boyfriend a pair for his birthday as he needs a new headset, however he recently mentioned he would prefer wireless headsets.

Well the only wireless headset that Razer do are the ManO'Wars. He already has Razer products so it would fit well with the asthetic, and from reviews I see they have good sound quality and mic quality, and are relatively comfortable with a decent battery life. The downside is, I have seen a hell of a lot of posts about broken headbands on the ManO'Wars.

Corsair Void Pros are wireless with RGB funcitonality, and they have an around ear coverage that I know my boyfriend prefers. (I don't know why he likes it, I think the shape looks weird). They are slightly cheaper than the ManO'Wars and appear to have a more robust headband. However, I have seen posts in the forums that complain about how their Corsair apps are conflicting with their Razer apps and it is reducing the functionality of Corsair and Razer products when used on the same computer system.

I have looked through lots of reviews and tried to look at some comparison statistic reviews, but these do not compare to an actual review by those that own one of the products.
So if you could please give your honest answers as to which product you think would more suitable for me to get for him, it would be greatly appreciated.

(I also understand that posting this in a Razer forum is likely to bias the results, but I am heavily invested in Razer, and believe that people would give honest opinions rather than biased ones in cases such as these).

Did you take a look at the Razer's Tresher headset lineup? They're compatible with PC as well.

Huh, I actually didn't realise they made a wireless version of the Threshers... Looking at them they seem to combat the issues I have for both the Corsair Voids and the ManO'Wars... I'll definitely look into those a bit more, thanks!

Out of the Razer wireless headsets, I'd go with the Thresher. It doesn't have build quality issues like the ManO'War and it's the "newer" product in their lineup with extra features like the ear cups that swivel and the suspension headband.

As for headsets not from Razer, I'd probably look at the HyperX Cloud Flight. It seems to be highly praised on comfort, sound, price and battery life. Although there have been some reports of people reporting an audible background hiss, so something to keep in mind.

Yeah, I had a brief look at the HyperX but like you said, the slight audible background hiss, as well as the fact it doesn't offer 7.1 surround sound, only 2.0...
But yeah, the Threshers are definitely looking like contenders :)
    Thanks for your help people!
