Hey you guys, I was setting up a new gaming computer in my head and had a sudden thought:
    Does anyone remember Project Christine?
I actually liked the idea of it, and with it's design, it is truly unique. We haven't had an update on this so far. I wonder how far it got by now.

On the other hand, I might just build myself a desk with the whole computer built into the top part of the desk, under a plate of glass, but that is still not as sleek as Project Christine.

What do you guys think? What would you like to see? Any special modules on that? razer-christine-gallery-06.jpg

I remember seeing a few articles saying something to the effect of Razer having issues getting other companies to invest in this project, and they would need other companies on board in order to make it work. (ie: Nvidia for the graphics portion, Intel for the processors, etc)

Razer always be pioneer in new products where other company think Razer will fail. But eventually Razer manage to success. It just take some times.

I remember reading some articles that say Razer had some problems pursuading OEMs to manufacture it. The primary reason is that the modular pc parts are too expensive to be made and the OEMs are very concerned if they would make profit by doing this.

And to be honest, I don't think that Razer is powerful enough to make it happen shortly, though I am very excited about this project.

Hope someday in the future we will see it happen.

This is an ambitious effort by Razer, so clearly this will take a lot of time, like if the switchblade ever happens. It will take time.

If that project ever came to pre-order I would make that my next build. So nice to see something new like that. When I first saw it, I was so happy to see something like this. Easy to build, parts just snap in without taking everything apart sometimes, just so simplistic. Hopefully they are still working on this idea

I saw the design for it, a celeron cpu is not powerfull enough to power games at high settings (nvidia's apu woud be better) but thats not the biggest problem. The keyboard would be just too small to type on, especially for people with big hands like me
