Dear Razer... WHY do you keep removing the dedicated Macro buttons? (blackwidow elite)

Title says it all. The Razer blackwidow ultimate stealth 2013 was my first mechanical keyboard and I loved it. The dedicated 5 macro buttons on the side were actually really good. I have one set to launch task manager one to launch OBS and the last 3 for GW2 combo's on the fly. then I saw the newer versions of the blackwidow remove those keys. I got used to them so much I absolutely refused to upgrade for years. Then I saw the blackwidow chroma V2 had brought them back. I waited for a year and then bought it. I love everything about it and the new switches felt better than ever. Now I see the blackwidow elite is missing those 5 buttons on the left side. WHY. DO NOT SAY THAT HYPER SHIFT IS A REPLACEMENT. that require me to press TWO buttons. and I either use 2 hands (which means I take my hands off the mouse) or I stretch my left hand like an idiot trying to hit the hypershift key and my remapped button. Seriously that alone makes your blackwidow elite inferior. The media keys do not count. They are a welcome edition yes! However they're on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the keyboard! which means I have to remove my hands from WASD. (I hit the macro keys with my pinky to avoid that issue.) So what is it Razer. do you welcome the macro keys? or do you not? please it's not going to kill your form factor to add a little extra width on the left for 5 keys!

I agree; the macro keys are really useful but I think some people accidentally hit them while playing so razer think they should get rid of them, but I’m not sure.

Interesting. I'm just curious how people could hit them by accident unless their hands were moving at the speed of light. in all my 5 years with the keyboard ive never hit the macros unless I intentionally wanted to. Honestly I understand why people go crazy over the windows key but the macros? I mean your hand control would have to be lousy if you were somehow able to hit the switches that I can just about hit with my pinky "accidentally". (Or you could just have really big hands that's true.) I hope they bring them back.

I’ve somethings hit them, but I’m not that used to razer keyboards.

It's a trend everywhere to reduce keyboards features. For some people I know, they like it, because they haven't so much space on their desk, at least they say it. But they are few, I think.
But mainly I think, it's all because of profit optimisation. The smaller and the lesser keys, the cheaper to produce.
Which company today realy cares about the customers needs ?
