Hello everyone! There have been numerous posts over the past couple months asking about how does one get a particular title, how does someone get trophy points and which combination of these helps you move up here on Razer|Insider. So, I'm compiling a list of information for folks, new and old, to reference for easy answers. We have now separated our Razer volunteers into two categories, we will have Razer Vanguards and Razer Insider Moderators. Our two volunteer community developers are also Vanguards. Eventually, we are hoping to add more to our ranks based on need and activity. Here is a list of our current Razer Vanguard Elite: @kajira @Destrok @Lafar @Firebat246 There are our Razer Vanguards: @Jenjar @Joikansai @Rox598 @.Surf. @xDanger65 @PT.Singer Our member volunteer Community Developers are: @Vaypron and @njbmartin The Razer Insider Moderators (non-vanguards) will be listed here if/when any are needed/chosen. If you need help from an official Razer Employee then you can speak with: @Razer|WolfPack @Razer|Gwynbleidd @Dekades or @Razer.Caziel A few links just to help out the newest of our members: Most important, everyone really needs to read -- The Posting Guidelines and the The Razer Insider House Rules please don't forgo reading those thinking that you're saving time or that they're "TLDR" material. If you don't know that information you could potentially receive warning points, and if it gets serious enough, banning. Also, while this thread: [Reminder] A tip on posting on Razer Insider was technically in reference to the Nabu waves, but the sentiments posted by Razer|Technokat will always be relevant and current. What he says should be taken to heart every time you post. Also, if you have questions regarding the Razer Store and shipping then you should check out this thread: Tracking Razer Orders/Shipments Here is a list of all the smilies and emoticons that are available for use on Razer|Insider. Here are The Basics on BBCode and how to format posts when just a plain paragraph isn't quite what you were looking for. Keep in mind, many of the most common options have fast access at the top of every post in the bar as well. One of the top things to keep in mind is to not spam or post unnecessarily. With that in mind, please remember when responding and quoting other's use the same post to do so. In other words, if there's more than one person you wish to respond do please respond to all of them in only one of your posts. If whatever you're wanting to say isn't worth the trouble of doing so, then perhaps just clicking the "Like" button and moving on is a better choice. As moderators we tend to have to merge a lot of multiple posts in a row, when it would be much simpler if folks just posted everything in one post to begin with. Trophy Points: This is the list of Trophy Points and how to earn them. Our previous system was removed March 27th, 2017 and was replaced with a new system. One of our members, @Remamian created a post with specifics regarding the new system only moments after it released, you can find that post here: [Guide] New Trophies - Earn zSilver We had another member, @BrianRevy , contribute to this as well with the following post: Razer Insider Achievements/Rewards [GUIDE] Posting Titles and Benchmarks: New Member: 1-7 points Member: 8-27 [= 3 Trophies] Active Member: 28 [= 5 Trophies] >62 Well-known member: 63+ For those who have asked about making a signature, here's a very simple explanation: To add a personal touch to your profile, mouse over your profile pic in the upper right-hand corner and choose the "Signature" link. Here you can add text, links or small photos, the BBCode mentioned earlier also works here. The Steam signature that so many others have used can be created here: Steam Signature Another request is that people keep their signatures down to a reasonable size. For people viewing on smaller devices / screens it can be a real hassle to have giant signatures taking up a large part of the screen, especially if there are multiple of them on the same page. So please be considerate when creating one. Regarding Searching for already created threads: If you would like to read my older posts for new members, then you can find those links to follow. Some of the information is still relevant, while some was specific to the initial Nabu sale waves. This is one that I still *Highly* recommend that users read, new and old: almost all of the information is still valid and applicable today: New to Insider? Start Here! This was what was put together for the Nabu waves in December of 2014, but it gives a good feel for how some of the giveaways have worked in the past and why there's such a fuss about post counts and titles to begin with: Everything Nabu: Please Read First!! To Upload A Photo: I saw a post a few pages into this thread asking for assistance on how to upload photos as well. In this regard I'm going to have to admit that I have only small amounts of experience, because I use ImageShack to host my photos first. If you also have a hosting site then I recommend you do the following: 1. Go to your hosting site and login 2. Find the photo and copy the link to to 3. Come back to Insider and click the "Image" button in the top nav bar of the post 4. Past your link into the blank given then press "Insert" If others have ways to upload photos that they use then feel free to write them in the thread and I'll edit/update this posting to try and include all the many ways. Thanks!! Thank you for reading and following the rules, it makes life easier and better for everyone. We've also had another member, @Stone Star , who created a post to help out new members in the forum, and we don't particularly need two posts for the same general purpose, so I am merging his information here as well and making sure you all know that credit is being given where credit is due. I will copy/paste in the information that he wrote up that isn't repetitive below this point. Be sure to check the Community Readme for more topics regarding insider and the before mentioned rules. I strongly suggest setting your avatar. It helps people identify you. Use common sense when choosing an avatar and try not to use anything that may offend people. To set your avatar follow these steps. 1. Mouse up the the top right corner of the screen. 2. Click on avatar. 3. Click on choose file and navigate to an image of your choosing. Once your ready to start posting click on forums button or check the recent threads and have fun! Also be sure to check the rewards section. Razer loves and takes care of their fans and by posting you can rank up and get rewards, like a free headset, discount codes, store credit and more! Be sure to check out Razer's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages for announcements, skits, and other cool stuff. Thank you all for checking out Razer Insider and I hope you have a nice stay here, cheers! Edit: 3/28/17 to reflect the new trophy and zSilver system.
