Hi all, I would like to share my developer-oriented configuration on the Blade 15 with OLED display.
I'm working on deep neural networks, so I had to install programs like CUDA etc.

    - Ubuntu MATE with kernel 5.1.16 (ubuntu MATE 18.04.3 LTS comes with 5.0.0, you should upgrade to have Wifi compatibility)
    - Nvidia Drivers 440.36 + CUDA 10.2 and cuDNN 7.6.5
    - Install gnome3 as display manager, it will work better with other screens.

How I solved some common issues:
    - Wifi still not working: install the drivers from intel at https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...05511/network-and-io/wireless-networking.html
    - Control display brightness: use xrandr command, OLED display do not have backlight.
    - Control keyboard backlight: install openrazer from https://openrazer.github.io/#download
    - Connect external monitor with different DPI: use xrandr with --scale option (like 2x2) to adapt it. Install Arandr to manage the position of the monitors.
    - Battery issues: sudo apt install tlp (it will not do miracles..)

    Info I discovered:
    - HDMI output is attached directly to the NVIDIA GPU, I was not able to make it work with the Intel GPU. So, miniDP and HDMI are connected to dGPU and TB3 to iGPU

I have written an article on how to setup Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS if it may interest you.

If you have other issues, post a reply with the description of your setup!
