So far I'm really impressed with the picture quality of the phone. The display is amazing the game performs with no lag and doesn't overheat like my old phone use to.

The only problem I'm having is when trying to throw curve balls....the spinning animation is very slow, you have to keep spinning alot longer in order to get the curve ball going.... I believe this has to do with the "scrolling feature of the phone" I'm not 100% sure.

If anyone plays Pokemon go, and use to play on their old phone you can tell a difference when trying to spin the ball to get a curve ball going.

For people not familiar with the game, in order to throw the curve ball you have to spin the ball in a circle a few times to get the pokeball spinning. My old phone you could make 3 mini circles and it will start spinning, with the new Razer phone, you have to go in a circle like 10 times before it starts spinning...

    SOLVED!

    Solution-
    1) Go into Nova Settings
    2) Go into Look & Feel
    3) Change Scroll Speed-Choose "Stock" speeds for scrolling between desktop or drawer pages
    4) Change Animation speed-Choose "Stock" speeds for transition animations

Enjoy, I hope this helps other people that play Pokemon Go using the Razer phone.

Maybe you just have to practice with the new phone. To make curve balls I usually do a half spin (like I was drawing the nike symbol) and it works fine for me, I use a moto x play.

My old phones were the Moto X pure edition, Droid Turbo 2 and like you said, with thoes phones even my old Samsung Galaxy S5, all you had to do was a half spin and it do the curve ball.

With the Razer phone you have to spin the ball litterly 8 times before it starts spinning the pokeball in a circle(very very slow).

To put it this way when you "grab the pokeball" on my old phone you could move the ball FAST, but with the Razer Phone the movement is SLOW. This is preventing the pokeballs from spinning faster.

I'm not sure if there is a settings or if it is Nova Launcher doing this....

Hey, thanks for sharing this!!! I'm still busy setting up the phone, fresh.. I just reinstalled the game but haven't tested it yet at 120Hz.. I'll keep your solution in mind if I enounter the same thing!

Then again, on my aging Nexus 6, lagging so bad, I may have to practice a lot to get used to catching Pokemon properly..

Let me know how it works for you. I'm still messing around with the setting. I even changed the Scroll speed to Lightning fast.

I noticed when I'm going to solo a raid boss the timer starts at 178-177 which is super good! My old phone it use to start at 174 or 173. This Razer phone is super fast!

After playing around some more with it. In order to get the pokeballs spinning fast again, you need to put the Display Refresh rate at 60Hz, the higher you go the slower the pokeballs spin(that's a bummer)
