thanks for letting us know ! awesome job so far !
I admit, I Initially signed up for Razer Insider in my sole interest of a discounted early access to the Razer Nabu (like everyone else).
>Inferior Insider member.
If I hadn't though, I wouldn't have gotten exposed to the Razer community. You guys rock; I'm absolutely sticking around. Since then, I've started to "fan" over Razer. The collection has begun. My keyboard is perfectly fine, but I bought a keyboard because... ya know Min-Liang Tan, man. "My old headphones? Ah, I guess they're alr-LET'S BUY RAZER!"
This is an excellent community surrounding a stellar company. I'm glad that this effort to expand Razer Insider put my name in the running for Razer wearables, but really, I'm glad it offered me a seat with you guys.
Only thing with this is that forum participation is really like playing a game. Some people love it and some people don't. I've participated in countless forums but never dove too deep, but there are plenty of users who have large amounts of experience with forums and love the environment.
Not to mention, I'm guessing a large majority of people will spam the 8, reap, and leave.
I'm not sure what a viable solution could be, but anything off the top of my head would require large amounts of moderation/ resources.
I bet it would be hard to find all the posts that are done for this particular reason.
thanks for the advice
I'd imagine checking all the hundreds/thousands of user profiles would be problematic, but once clicking on someone's profile and seeing the overview of their posts it would be obvious. I've seen plenty of random comments consisting of only "cool" or "sweet" on posts that asked a question... quite humorous.
I wish I had been a part of the Razer community years ago when I had more time to game (and more money for all the fun products!). Looking forward to all the fun conversations about new gear and games.
I agree with the sentiment, as a newly involved user in the forum. Since I'm not that avid of a gamer I have minimal ability to contribute to many threads, however I am familiar with Razer and their products, and am interested in the Nabu smartbands. Hopefully I can contribute in a meaningful way
It's very easy to find them - even more so if you read every single thread posted on the forums like most of the staff does and some of the readers who have been here longest.
It's also why there is a "report" button at the bottom of every post, if you see someone who is not following rules, use it!
its actually 8, but fluff aside I will do my best to add to conversations!!
For the previous original Nabu waves it was one post, I think @Razer|Technokat just needs to update the first post to minimize any confusion. (apparently, there's enough confusion already. LOL)
Thanks for the advice, will do sir
Thanks for the introduction post!
Thanks for the introduction post. Interesting to see that the nabu x requires 8 posts
New here but looking forward to contributing!
Thanks for the post, @Razer|Technokat. I was getting a little tired of seeing pointless threads here and there. Even if people want to qualify for pre-registrations, if they want it that bad, it doesn't hurt to actually make constructive posts instead of pointless ones. I mean, come on.
Very excited not only for Nabu but, for Forge TV I really hope there is a beta test offer for that, very, very awesome product!
@Razer|Technokat Good info but I have a question - is there anyway to exclude people from these offers who post defamatory/flame/troll type comments being anti-razer when they don't get what they want?
Maybe it's not good business practice and maybe that's too subjective as well. Just a thought?
thank you for the information! i love you're products alot!
Thanks for making this introduction post.
