So dissapointed i was expecting some great customization instead i got some quick cash grab that doesnt do shit. Seriously no custom light configirations? Instantly returned it to best buy and bought the corsair polaris mouse pad, only five dollars more. I expected a lot more from this mouse pad i thought it would sync up with my mouse but all it does is have a reactive mode that only lights up one static color. soooo boring wtf.

Soooo... what are you trying to achieve here by posting such a thread like this?

Sorry, but you are wrong. With Firefly you can use multiple apps from Chroma Workshop, do basic customization in Synapse, or program way more advanced lightning effects using the Chroma SDK.

It honesty looks like you were paid to promote anti-advertisement towards Razer, and promote its rivals o_O

The firefly has features just the features YOU don't expect. Corsair's are trash and too thick with their lights also it only comes in hard! not cloth. Only razer has done a hard cloth mouse pad! Not corsair! Razer will always be the brand i choose for gaming gear unless its pc parts.

Unfortunately you have come to the wrong place to spread hate on Razer, if you have a genuine concern about the product and need actual help then we would be more then happy to help. I do suggest in future posts that you refrain from hating on Razer as it wont make you many friends here...

definitely not, it has an usb port and its leds are much brighter, which is something I'd love to see in a firefly v2

Despite being a hardcore Razer fan-i have to say when corsairs released their mat i was jealous of the customization zones and the usb port-i agree with you that they should add these in V2

To be fair i kind of understand the feeling of the OP. I was rather disappointed with mine as well when I got it. The spectrum lighting isnt customizable at all. They allow you to do it on the Mamba Chroma, why not do it to the Firefly, I do feel that Razer just dont seems to want to support that feature even though Ive seen more than 1 thread asking for this feature. Not everyone understand the Chroma SDK and the complex configuration it takes to get a profile to work the way you want. The Corsair mouse pad does seems to make me a bit jealous to be honest. The customization is something Razer can easy do through an update and dont need to wait for a V2 of the thing. Just my opinion.

Are you saying that a Firefly Version 2 is coming if so i got ripped off due to the fact i just ordered my Firefly CE in the beginning of the year so They better add Chroma Config to v1 or i will be very disappointed

Would not be surprised if there is a firefly V2 coming soon, Since the firefly is starting to age a little bit. It is unknown if they will be adding a chroma configuratior to the firefly V1, They could but if they are making a V2 the V1 would not be updated at all, Or not as often.

Of course there will eventually be a V2, that'd be like buying a 2017 vehicle and thinking there won't be a 2018, and then being mad when it comes out. There could be some improvements to it, I'd say mostly make sure it's flat since that's it's main purpose.

So...You don't know what lighting effect that the firefly can provide and then you buy it? If you want to buy something, why don't you just check it first before you buy? You can go to the razer official website or youtube to see what kind of lighting effect that the firefly can provide.
Now you are regard for buying the firefly just because you are stupid? What's the matter with you...
I think you just want to see us got mad because you bought the corsair polaris mouse pad and you want to prove it is better than the firefly? Trying to say some mean thing to make us mad? Nice try, but a fan like me doesn't feel anything.

    O
bviously, I am a razer fan but I am not like you. I won't go to other gaming product forum and try to say some mean things to attack the other company product. Because this is naive. Everyone have their right to choose their favorite brand. So you don't need to prove which brand is better.

There will always be a V2 to everything lol. Look at the BW Chroma, its nearly perfect and Razer still manage to find something to make it better, a wrist rest, realignment of keys, MORE light setting on the V2. You see what they did there? More light settings. Ring a bell yet? So maybe they are holding it off for the Firefly V2 and not give it to the V1. Being able fully customize your Wave Effect is pretty nice. I got it on my Mamba Chroma and its awesome. Most likely it will come in the Firefly V2, which we dont know when.

  15. Personally I would like to see the Firefly V2 also come in a large option. I find its form factor to be a tad limiting, more vertical space would be nice.

Yup, a Firefly V2 and a Blackwidow X Chroma V2 with yellow switches in the UK layout would be great. Thanks Razer ;)
