The ps series for sure. Not so much the psp/go/vita since the support and development was lacking, but all their living room consoles were solid for me at the time they came out.

Favorite console doesn't mean you like console more, and pc gaming may have grown over the years but there was a time where console ruled for the most part.

Since I grew up playing with my ps2, I gotta say the playstation series is my favorite :)
I hate how the xbox controller has an anolog stick that is on the very top left corner.

While PC gaming is great, console gaming can also be fun. Besides, console gaming was really the only choice for a long time and that's where all the classics come from.

playing these games make only sense if you start by the first and go chronologically to the last, otherwise the story will spoiler itself and it does not make rlly much fun....

A story based game shouldn't start in the middle :)

This thread is kinda pointless, right now its evident that PC>PS4>All other consoles
But of all time is more interesting...

I am a die-hard XBOX fan! External drive storage, better controllers, and great backwards compatibility for many games!

Sega Dreamcast was the best in its time. It just wasn't supported as well as Sony did with PS2, but come on:
    • A memory card with an LCD screen that you could play mini-games on.
    • Ecco the Dolphin - the MOST beautiful game until XBox and PS3.

You can't compare them that simply. By generation though:
    • 80s - NES > Master System.
    • Early 90s - SNES > Mega Drive (called Genesis in the US, I believe).
    • Late 90s - N64 > PS > Saturn.
    • Early 2000s - XBOX > PS2 > Game Cube > Dreamcast.
    • Late 2000s - XBOX 360 > PS3 > Wii.
    • Early 2010s - PS4 > XBOX One.
Nintendo dominated in the early days, Microsoft took over from there but then handed the title to Sony for the current generation of consoles.

If an overall winner was possible though (taking into account technology and innovation at the time), I would say it has to go to either N64 or SNES.
