    Laptop: QHD+ Razer Blade 14 2016 (970m + 6700hq)

So I was testing a usb linux install drive that I made for Ubuntu (18.04.1) with my laptop. I booted into it just fine, and went into the "try linux without installing" because I just wanted to confirm that the drive worked. After confirming it worked, I restarted the laptop to go back to windows. When I restarted it, the fans spun and the keyboard lights turned on, but nothing shows up on the screen, even after being left there for about a minute. I tried a few things once this happened: I tried plugging the laptop into a TV through HDMI, no signal was received, then I opened up the laptop and unplugged the battery for a few minutes, and I unplugged the CMOS to reset BIOS settings. After plugging everything back in, the the same thing happens when I press the power button. How do I fix this?

Again, just to be clear, I didn't actually install linux. Thanks for any help in advance.

    Edit: Grammar and clarification

Hello, I think I have a similar problem on Razer Blade 14 2017 (7700HQ, GTX 1060). This morning I witnessed how the screen went black and the system stopped botting with almost the same symptoms. Did you try cooling you computer in a cold room? In my case it feels like this changes the behavior somehow.

Also, you can check my thread related to my problem https://insider.razer.com/index.php?threads/razer-blade-late-2017-laptop-died.42948/
