Have the same with my DA. Also I have a loose in the right button. Seemed that Razer asks too much money for such a bad quality of that mice.

I understand that your Razer Deathadder Elite Mouse is experiencing issue that the scroll wheel mouse is producing strange and scratchy sounds. That is unlikely to happen but since this issue may occur during normal usage, then I believe it is safe to say that this may be related to a manufactured defect. Therefore, based on your ticket information, the fastest way to get a replacement unit is to return to the point of purchase with the proof of purchase for the Mouse.

At least we can get a replacement for this issue.

Yeah, that would seem the best bet. Just take it back and exchange it. Razer support tries to do the best they can for all their customers according to each person's circumstances. I've used them twice before on the advice Razer's CEO and both times they helped me with the minimum fuss and trouble.

Granted I only used my DA elite for about two months solid before using the Lancehead on the full time basis. I haven't had issues with it yet. However the scroll seems to be much different from any other scroll wheel I've had for any mice owned. The "feel" of it seems like its rubbing against the sides or something? Even though there isen't much resistance to make a difference. So I just figured it was normal.

If the problem develops over time, sounds like a defect.

I wouldn't be comfortable with something like that. But I understand if it doesn't bother you.

I only had it two months usiing it full time and it was like that from the go. I use my lancehead now, but it didn't really bother me, as long as it kept working the way it was supposed to.
