Hello, so i wrote a mail to support about my Razer Surround code, and they wanted me to provide serial number of my device, i made photo of it and write the serial. They said the serial is not genuine, that means my Razer Hammerhead's are China shit or what?

All - we get a lot of knock offs of our products and that's also a reason why you see a huge disparity of experiences with our products.

Many of the "issues" you hear are actually users who have purchased from eBay or other dubious sources and have gotten a counterfeit.

So in short - do purchase only from authorized sources and do advise your friends to do the same.

Yeah, my hammerheads sound awful but they are fake ones, i was thinking why they are so bad, i was thinking maybe surround helps me :D then accidently i found mines are fakes because i couldnt redeem my code. The thing about authorized shops is that, i need wait 3 weeks for the product because there is no authorized Razer shop in Poland :/

I am sorry to hear this :slightly_sad: but don't you think it is better to wait 3 weeks and get the original product than running after these people asking for refunds?
I am basically from India and there we struggle a lot to find authorized shops but we always made sure that we get them from authorized sellers. I remember once travelling 350KM with my friends to get to the shop to buy keyboards and mouse and pads. We didn't even have Amazon here at that time so the struggle was real but it was totally worth it, those keyboards and mouse are still fully functional for all of us. ;)

    Authorized sources are listed here?

I ask, because I saw a full Razer display for Christmas, including Razer Blades, at my local Fry's electronics. They are not on the list when I search. The only thing listed within 100 miles is the Microsoft Store for blades and Walmart + BestBuy for 'all' Razer products.

Fry's is not listed at all.

It was a nice spread. Headphones, laptops, keyboards, leviathans. Not as big as Fry's Apple section, but the Blades were getting the foot traffic. Apple area was dead. Tumbleweeds.

It was certainly a lot nicer display than the one lonely black laptop in the corner on a table full of other black laptops at the MS store I saw when I was shopping for my current Blade.

Come to think of it, the only place I've seen that was more impressive was an amazing little electronics shop in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. If it's still there next time I go back, I should take a picture and post it.

Fry's had one of the best Razer displays *in the world* this holiday season, but I don't see them on the list.

Same here, in PH, lots of resellers in almost every malls in Manila have razer products but only about a dozen resellers are listed on the site. It might be their list isnt updated?

For those interested here is a translation:

There are 4 ways to tell real Razer Hammerhead Pro's from fakes. It is quite easy to spot the fakes by both the box and the headphones themselves.

All fake products that we have spotted have had the following serial number: IN1350091G01522.

    - Real Hammerhead Pro headphones have the serial number on a sticker stuck onto the box.
    - Fakes have the serial number printed on the box. (They have all had the same number as noted above.

    - Real Hammerhead Pro headphones have a clear Razer logo on the box.
    - Fakes have a misprinting/double-printed logo on the box.

    - The speaker grille on real Hammerhead Pro headphones does not reveal the inside of the speaker.
    - Fakes have a clear grille that allows the inside to be seen.

    - Real Hammerhead Pro headphones have a clearly stamped inscription on them.
    - The inscription on fakes in blurry.

gotta be careful with online purchase from some websites, unless its razerstore or recognised ones. if its abit too cheap or big discounts just do a double check.
Though i must admit some fake goliathus mousepads do look cool haha

This is the reason i only purchase from the online Razer store, don't want to risk getting fake products :/

Okay, check it out peeps :D

That's right. $12,000 in Blades just open-boxed out on that display. No reason. Just, here, play with my Razers. That is some Razer love!

Including a Blade Pro with SBUI

Not to mention quite a few other Razer products... Okay, so I just mentioned them :D

Fry's in Tempe, AZ if you were wondering

A couple more shots of the display

They also carry the Razer Leviathan. I haven't seen the Razer gear like hoodies and bags, the Nabu, or the Forge. Looking forward to seeing a Blade Stealth land here.

It's so weird that Fry's is not listed as a reseller on Razer's website. Fry's display is a lot more impressive than what I saw in the Microsoft store. Oh well. Maybe after this discussion that will soon change.
